Currier
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.
— Proverbs 31:8
Dirk and Bobbie met in their local Assembly of God church in Freeport, IL, doing street evangelism and outreach to bars in the Rockford, IL area. Following graduation from Bible college, Dirk and Bobbie married and began their 32+ years of marriage and ministry.
Over the course of their ministry, they have served in the urban center of Chicago through ministry to skateboarders to rural areas of Minnesota as pastors, but missions has always been on their hearts since their first trip to Mexico more than thirty years ago. Since then, they have led teams to Mexico, Haiti, Israel, and Thailand.
Now they work in Thailand’s “Sin City” helping with anti-human trafficking efforts through a rescue home for children, participate in rescue operations with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and outreach to bars and brothels to bring the gospel message to those who have not heard.
The Curriers have 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and many foreign exchange students who call them “Mom & Dad” whom they’ve hosted in their home over the years.
