What a great question GOF Missionary David Vega posed daily to the team ministering in Mexico.
Preparing to head out for a day of ministry, team members had impressions of a circus tent and a soccer ball. They didn’t know what that meant, but would soon find out.
That night they spotted Juan, sitting under a circus tent waiting for his wife. The team learned Juan was a born-again Christian, but had been suffering with intense pain for 20 years from a soccer injury.
After a short time of prayer, Juan’s pain decreased significantly. Another short burst of prayer and the pain was completely gone!
He jumped up and showed the team he had regained full range of motion. He couldn’t wait to show his wife what the Lord had done.
“The pain is so bad.
I have really suffered.”
— Juan
On a different day, the team stopped at a small shop to enjoy some paletas (Mexican popsicles). The man at the counter had caught the attention of the team and they believed the Holy Spirit had highlighted him.
Mauricio had been in a car accident years prior and the damage was bad enough the doctors wanted to amputate his hand.
But Mauricio declined, learning how to function with his deformity and lack of feeling in his limb.
The team gathered to pray for him and Mauricio began to weep.
“There is feeling returning to my hand!” exclaimed Mauricio.
With tears streaming down his face, Mauricio began moving his hand, feeling every finger.
Mauricio (left) shows both hands fully functioning.
We give all glory to the Lord for His miracle working power! Through the mouths and hands of missionaries and team members, His healing was on display.

I've seen a lot of heart-wrenching scenes where Global Outreach Foundation works, but this was one of the most devastating. This is where YOU enter the story. Last month my husband, Joseph, and I traveled to Thailand to connect with one of GOF's Missionary couples and...
All the locals knew Elvis in Lukaya, Uganda. He was the crazy guy running around town. When Elvis showed up at a GOF's partnering church you help support, Pastor Joseph knew it was time. Jesus had greater plans for this man. Apart from the Pastor, no one else knew...
Our mission is to advance the Gospel in Word and Deed. I am excited to report updates on just some of what your partnership is accomplishing "by Word." In some areas where we minister, people do not have the entire Bible in their own language. Further, their leaders...
