Missionary Bill Eng and Malaysian ministry partner Pastor J have been hard at work reaching longhouse communities in eastern Malaysia.
More than 12 churches have been planted!
Closed Hearts Open to the Gospel
Past attempts to minister in one longhouse community proved difficult. But this time was different.
After finally getting to meet the chief, he requested the Gospel be preached in his community. Those once lukewarm now received Bill and Pastor J with all enthusiasm.
Most of the people declared Christian heritage, yet there were clear signs of animism (worship of naturally created things) and witchcraft all around.
After the Gospel was preached, EVERY SINGLE PERSON accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior and many were baptized in the Holy Spirit.
They're Hungry for More
The community is pleading for the team to return as soon as possible. Until the next visit, Pastor J will faithfully disciple and encourage these new believers.
