Shannon co-founded GOF and is both a U.S.-based and international missionary, serving as GOF’s lead administrator and President of the Board of Directors. She also administrates GOF’s ministry training curriculum.

In 2003, Shannon joined Dean Niforatos on an overseas mission trip which forever changed the course of her life.  She was deeply moved by the poverty she saw — both physical and spiritual — and determined to  make a difference in the lives of those who were so neglected and forgotten. Responding to the Lord’s directive to “be a voice for those who have no voice,” she helped establish GOF and now works to meet physical and spiritual needs around the world by working with donors, providing administrative services to GOF missionaries, training national pastors, and speaking to churches and groups about what the Lord is doing globally.

Shannon holds a Masters of Divinity from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and is ordained through Pray-Tell Ministries. She is an accomplished administrator, preacher, teacher, and speaker with more than 25 years nonprofit and ministry experience.

Joseph retired from a career in air traffic control and now serves as GOF’s Operations Assistant. He is an accomplished Bible teacher, often guest speaking in training seminars. In addition to various part-time jobs which include tutoring and mail service, he serves on the elder board of Park Fellowship Church in Estes Park, CO.

Joseph and Shannon can be found enjoying the outdoors in their Jeep or on motorcycle, leading GOF overseas outreaches, teaching discipleship classes, and relaxing with friends.
