Your generous support of evangelism in Malaysia is bring about eternal reward. More than 11 churches have been planted in longhouses, a kind of multi-family residence with a common area shared by all.
Lives are being transformed in amazing ways as new believers tell others of what Jesus is doing.
Yut suffered a painful and embarrassing physical condition. Nothing she did brought relief.
As a Christian friend told of the great things Jesus was doing in a nearby longhouse church planted by one of our partnering pastors, Yut took a bold step of faith.
“Would Jesus heal me too?
Can someone pray for me?— Yut
The church member called her pastor and a time was set to pray.
Yut and Mus living in freedom through Christ and physically healed.
Remembering the story of Naaman’s healing of leprosy as he dipped in the river (2 Kings 5:1-27), the pastor led Yut to dip seven times in a nearby river as he prayed for her.
She rose from the water completely healed!
But that’s not the end of the story.
- Her husband, Mus, came to faith in Christ and also received healing of a painful condition.
- Others in the longhouse accepted Christ as Savior after witnessing Yut and Mus physically healed.
- And perhaps the biggest miracle of all — Yut and Mus forgave the person who had placed them under a curse for so many years. Now they live free from bitter hatred.
Thank you for your continued support of evangelism and discipleship in Malaysia. How wonderful it is to see these new believers taking their faith so seriously and faithfully leading others to Christ.
