Raised in a Taoist-Buddhist home, Bill did not find answers to his spiritual search for the One True God. Through his Christian friends’ faithful and persistent witness in high school, Bill finally accepted the Lord, though he kept his faith a secret from his parents who threatened to disown him if he were ever to convert to Christianity.
While pursuing his university education in the United States, Bill experienced a spiritual revival, was baptized in the Holy Spirit and felt the call of God upon his life. He returned to Malaysia and had a successful career as a piano instructor.
Shortly after his marriage, Bill and Lili obeyed the call of God and attended Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Discipleship Training School (DTS). Bill attended and graduated from the Bible College of Malaysia in 1993. Since then, he has served in both youth and pastoral ministries, accredited with the Assemblies of God of Malaysia.
