Evangelism

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
— Romans 10:14-15

We are concerned about furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Our focus is especially on those places where the gospel message has not yet been heard or does not have a strong presence.

Missionaries

We currently have missionaries ministering in countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

GOF Missionaries are key to our evangelistic efforts. Where the gospel message is not commonly known, they are the ones bringing the good news, planting churches, and training national leaders to carry on the work.

Each missionary is responsible for raising their own living and ministry costs each year. Our missionaries sacrifice many comforts in order to bless others.

Outreaches

Outreaches are simple ways in which we present the gospel message to people individually and in large groups. Whether door-to-door or in open-air gatherings, outreaches often involve some element of humanitarian work so physical and spiritual needs can be met.

We come alongside national pastors to reinforce their work and to point new believers to a pastor who will help them grow in the Lord. It is not enough to lead people to Jesus — we also leave them with capable pastors who will disciple and care for them once the outreach is completed.

Church Planting

We plant churches hand-in-hand with national pastors.

Church planting is of utmost importance to GOF Missionaries. It is through the local church that the body of Christ grows and matures, worships the Lord in culturally appropriate ways, and impacts the local community.

We make every attempt to connect newly planted churches with more established churches for purposes of encouragement, training, financial support, and prayer. Our hope is that through these long-term relationships, both new and established churches are strengthened as they visit each other’s churches, share ministry, and pray for each other.

Mission Trips

Short-term trips are an excellent way to serve the Lord, His people, reach the lost, and personally grow in following Christ.

Mission trips are designed to stretch participants beyond their comfort zone and provide opportunities for both one-on-one and large group ministry.

Not all countries we serve are appropriate for mission teams due to political unrest and other dangers. However, we have several locations where teams are welcomed and provide excellent options for outreach ministry.
