In June 2024, Global Outreach Foundation missionaries helped teens, many from troubled and broken families, deeply discover their Heavenly Father. They learned that He loves them and is consistent, present, and caring.
Young people face diverse challenges in today’s world. For many, their biggest challenge is home life.
A group of middle-schoolers in Florida largely exemplified this example — kids of divorce, absentee fathers, foster kids, and kids adopted into less than ideal situations.
Fathers among the youth leaders ministered as “spiritual dads” to the kids, a unique opportunity for many of the leaders. Some of the toughest kids were weeping in prayer, never experiencing this kind of care from the Lord or a father figure.
By the end of the week, nearly every teen committed their life to Christ and several were baptized in the Holy Spirit! Many others confessed to drug addictions and committed to undergo drug abuse rehabilitation.
The camp may have ended, but GOF Missionaries will continue pouring into the youth, leading them through the process of discipleship and walking with them through life’s challenges.
Your support is helping raise the next generation of Christians! The future looks bright as young hearts submit to the Lord and are transformed.
