Joe and Linda Meyer have been happily married for 26 years and in ministry together since 1980, passionate to reach people for Jesus Christ. They have 11 years experience with youth and other ministries, having served in Crystal Lake and Joliet, IL. In 1992 they left youth ministry to begin a new church in Marengo, IL where they stayed for 16 years. During that time they saw the faithfulness of God as a strong and healthy church was established for the glory of God.
A graduate of North Central Bible College (now North Central University) in Minneapolis, MN, Joe has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1984 and has served in the North Central Section of the Illinois District of Assemblies of God as a Secretary and Alternate Presbyter.
Having gone on several overseas mission trips, Joe and Linda have always been drawn to missions. In 2005, they felt the Lord tugging at their hearts to minister in East Africa. After much prayer and fasting, God opened doors to work in South Sudan as a GOF Missionaries from 2009-2011.
Joe and Linda have since returned to the States and are planting Crossway Church in Lake In the Hills, IL.
